HemoFAXS

HemoFAXS offers fully automated analysis and classification of leukocytes (white blood cells/WBC) based on advanced Support Vector Machine technology. Thanks to a specially designed algorithm, relevant cells are detected in real time. All leukocyte subtypes and normoblasts are accurately differentiated by intelligent segmentation. Classifying leukocytes has never been that easy.

Erythrocyte Morphology

HemoFAXS also offers a well-structured format for rapid analysis of erythrocytes (red blood cells/RBC). Each patient can be screened by single mouse clicks for various RBC diseases.

Numerous Applications

HemoFAXS is an appropriate screening tool for all types of hematological diseases. Both RBC and WBC abnormalities are detected, including leukemia-type alterations.

Cells can be analyzed in blood, bone marrow smears, sputum, cerebrospinal fluid or vaginal smears.

1) Image Recording and Processing

Up to eight patient samples can be simultaneously analyzed. The maximum number of cells per slide can be defined in advance.

2) Classification

The recording command will start the automated process of cell assignment. A specially designed autofocus will ensure that top-level images are recorded. The selected range of images with assigned cells can be manually readjusted at any time.

3) Erythrocyte Morphology

The RBC profile is presented in a well-structured format for speedy analysis.

4) Validation

This screen gives an overview of all patient-related data. The operator can add remarks that will be stored along with the data.
